North American Esports League Fall Registration is Open Now

The 2022 NAEL Fall Season starts September 10—request team info today.

In case you missed it, we recently acquired the North American Esports League (NAEL)—a youth league for elementary school and middle school aged gamers. The league boasts 100-plus teams (and growing) from all over the US—giving esports players ages seven to fifteen the chance to play other top teams in their peer group. Just like the pros.

Now, we’re gearing up for the fall season and welcoming youth teams across the US to go head-to-head in top games like Fortnite®, Rocket League®, Valorant®, Overwatch®, and the newly added Apex Legends®. With more teams, more titles, and the support of Valhallan, this promises to be the NAEL’s best season yet.

Like-minded missions

Like Valhallan, the NAEL’s mission is to teach players life skills while they practice the techniques and strategies needed to up their game in the arena.

The NAEL is designed for teams from LAN centers, clubs, and schools who practice and play in person. Organized, live competition creates a more engaging esports experience that gives kids the same social benefits traditional team sports provide. Communication, teamwork, and good sportsmanship are all examples of essential social skills kids learn from practicing and playing traditional team sports. Joining the NAEL provides those same lessons and skillsets to esports players.

More than a tournament

Founded by two sports-loving dads wanting to support their kids’ passion for esports, the goal of the NAEL is to build a community for esports players. “We wanted to create a safe space for gamers – a community that takes esports out of isolated bedrooms and basements and into a team environment,” says VP of Operations Jim MacDonald.

NAEL support doesn’t with players. Each owner or manager also gains access to the NAEL mastermind group and one-on-one consulting sessions. “And as parents and entrepreneurs ourselves, we’re happy to provide coaches and LAN center owners with advice, support, and the opportunity to connect through our mastermind group,” says MacDonald.

So what does it take to register?

Registration is open to elementary and grade school teams coast-to-coast of all skills levels. Fees are low, coming out to just $25 per player for the full season.

If you run an existing team or LAN center, you can charge whatever you feel is appropriate and keep the difference. It’s up to you to schedule your weekday practices. We’ll provide the schedule for pro-style tournament play on the weekend.

The 2022 falls season starts September 10 and runs for 10 weeks.

Teams, players, and the most exciting game play will be highlighted throughout the season on NAEL social media channels. Results, standings, and rosters will be available on the NAEL website. The top three teams in each game and division will receive trophies - and bragging rights of course.

Think your team has what it takes? There’s only one way to find out. Don’t miss out on the chance for your players to experience competition and fun on a national stage. Request team info | Sign up today.
